In the end, the fun factor was way up there. A nice balance of windy days and no wind days with great weather throughout. We had a variety of conditions to sail in. Totally got juiced ocean side, and sailed with some really great sailors. Saw video/photo shoots for the North Kite team right in front of our house doing crazy tricks. Hung out in Manteo, Ocracoke, and the Light House. Got to go for a ride in the Grave Digger. And as always shared many awesome sunsets with great friends and family. Unfortunately, I didn't get a lot of footage this time round. I do have some and will slap something together when we arrive home. I do have a ton of pics which will be posted soon as well. Tonight, we're in Woodstock, VA and going to the Caverns tomorrow. Should be cool. HSM pulled through again, and is replacing the broken 400. Thanks Chris. Sound Side or Surf Side – What would you pick?I picked both! Today’s was epic. Sound side in the morning on the 5.3, surf side at Ramp 30 with the locals on the 4.5, and finished off the day back on the sound with the 3.7…Nuff said. Here are some pics… Wow… We packed up and headed to Isabel’s today, Jf, Dirk and I. Absolutely amazing. Side off conditions with shoulder to head high sets peeling in. Cleann, clean, clean…. Rode the 106 3Style with the 5.3. Once I got dialed in and organized it was pure bliss. I have never ridden conditions as sweet as that. Nice size waves that were just peeling back with side off wind. So much fun…. Truly felt what it was like to wave ride today. Unfortunately in the end I ended up snapping another mast. Very frustrating, since it was just replaced under warranty in Dec. Yesterday, was an off day with the family. Launging at the pool, and the kids and Lindsay trying out the kids rig. Life is good…. Pics, vids, and more to come … Wednesday is looking epic….taking the day off tomorrow. I’ve heard this place is amazing…my friend lives nears by and scuba dives all the time there. Need to check it out someday. GEAR FOR SALE: More pics available Contact: livethedream@thewindmil.com Poison 73L Wave Board More pics available. Contact: livethedream@thewindmil.com
